Very accurate heart monitor

Very accurate as a heart monitor, which is what I bought it for. I had bought a fitbit right before, and it was worthless as a heart rate monitor, during exercise it would show a heartbeat rate of 77 or something while my oxymeter would show 130, as would my gym bikes. I wouldn't trust on the gym bikes, but the oxymeter is a different story. Never mind that it would be impossible for me as an out of shape guy to have such a low hbr during a workout.This one is on the money with the oxymeter, and to my surprise the gym bikes. Plus it has a bigger icon than the fitbit and it stays on the mode I want it to stay on.The chest strap I assume is a better way than the wrap around the wrist. Of course I returned the fitbit after 4 days.

Just wanted to monitor my heart rate...perfect!

I just recently got into exercise as a senior citizen. I read the book Younger Next Year by Chris Crowley and Henry Lodge. Chris insisted that a heart rate monitor is necessary. I tried a cheap wrist model, but it was inaccurate. So, I wanted one on a chest strap, because I think they are more accurate, and I just wanted to see what my heart rate was by looking at my wrist. Other models seems to want to interface with your phone, but I don't want to carry my phone when I'm exercising or have to look at it to see what my heart rate is. Or you can interface to a smart watch, but I don't want a smart watch. Or you could buy an expensive wrist unit that would interface to your phone, the gym equipment, track your exercise, keep a spreadsheet, and run your microwave at home. Um. I just wanted to see my heart rate.This model was perfect for my needs. The chest strap is comfortable. It was easy to set up the watch. The watch isn't particularly stylish, but it's got huge numbers and it's easy to use and that's what I wanted. I checked the accuracy of the heart rate against medical equipment and it is accurate. Although I wasn't interested in this, it somehow automatically paired with the treadmill at the gym so the treadmill shows my heart rate. Huh. I am completely satisfied with this unit. It does exactly what I wanted it to do.I have read reviews that the batteries are hard to change. I don't have experience with that yet, but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it....next year....when I'm a year younger. ;-)

Great heart monitor for riding.

I mounted the watch to the handlebars on my bike. Easy to set which function you want to monitor. Easy to see the readings while riding. Seams very accurate.

Works Great! Simple To Use! Not complicated! Big Font!

I love this little HRM. It does what you want and doesn't do a ton of useless things that most often don't work anyway on many more expensive types of HRMs. And the numbers are BIG so you can read it while you are working out. Really great!

Pretty good for this low price

I was hoping to be able to see my heart rate and the stop watch and the same time, but I can't. Otherwise, this is a pretty solid watch. Large numbers are easy to read when running and the back like is pretty good. I think the heart rate monitor is pretty accurate. It looks to be almost the same as my cell phone heart rate measurement. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Best bang for the buck!

5 stars considering that It is less than $20. I’ve been exclusively buying Casio branded sports watches for the past 30 years. Lately they haven’t been delivering on all my evolving needs: waterproof, large readable digits, dual time, day of the week (I forget sometimes), day of the month, stopwatch, countdown timer and bright (enough) night illumination. I decided on this EZON in particular because the case was thinner than the competition, the styling is clean and neutral, and the price is right. So far so good. Will be revisiting this review as time goes on for durability, especially the crystal. Downsides? So far, only one which is although easy to put on, the strap is not the easiest to remove.UPDATE MARCH 2022: There's a few scratches on the crystal and dings on the casing (whacked it against a concrete wall), but nothing visible upon casual observation. Have used the dual time when traveling overseas, stopwatch for jogging and timer for cooking. Backlight works well. Still going strong with absolutely no complaints.

Heart Rate Monitor

The media could not be loaded. I believe that the chest strap does an excellent job of monitoring my heart rate throughout the various forms of exercise that I engage in. The monitor offers me reliable and up-to-date information on my heart rate, regardless of whether I am doing aerobic exercises on the treadmill, lifting weights, or going for a run. These readings give me the impression that I can rely on them, which enables me to maintain my goal heart rate zone throughout the many sorts of exercises that I do. Even after strenuous physical activity, the strap itself is not too constricting or uncomfortable to wear, and it does not seem excessively tight or constrictive. In addition to that, it is waterproof, which is a considerable advantage for me since I prefer to use it when I go for runs outside in a variety of weather situations. Although I have used it with both my phone and my fitness app, the connection between the two is completely effortless. I don't have to worry about any network difficulties, and the data syncs up quite rapidly, which is essential when I'm monitoring my performance over a period of time. In addition, it is convenient that the device is compatible with a variety of applications; this means that I was not restricted to just one or two choices.

Really Good Value

A blog listed this running watch as an excellent value. I completely agree. I am just a normal guy running to make sure I don't die of a heart attack. I just need a watch to keep me at my 10 or 11 minute per mile pace. This GPS watch is perfect for that. It is not a fashion watch (see photo, its a bit big) and is it not as accurate or precise as my phone, which triangulates off cell towers as well as satellites. But I was tired of carrying my phone and concerned about damaging it in sudden weather changes. This watch is great. I can consistently keep on pace and meet my goals. Oh, one other limitation, which maybe I have just not figured out, it does not seem to do intervals very easily. I can pace my entire run, or I can pace my intervals, but I can't seem to conveniently do both in the same run. But again, it may just be my limitation not that of the watch. I am very satisfied with my purchase and recommend this product.

It’s doing fine so far.

This is my third Ezon watch, for what it’s worth. On one the strap broke and I sent it back, On two I tried to change the battery myself (you really need a jeweler!) lost the screws, taped it together and lost all the functions, but they all, amazingly, came back after I took a shower, and worked for months before it finally died.I basically wanted a HR monitor for exercise, but I’ve got addicted to having a watch, and particularly the day and date function. Stopwatch is a plus and Alarm if I need to use it. I’m not sure how accurate the HR function is (with the chest-strap the readout is continuous I can remove the watch for better visibility) but readings compare well so far with my BP meter. The price is certainly favorable. Delivery was overnight!

Comfortable and functional

This watch does everything you need for the price. I bought it primarily for the pedometer but the other features are great too. Be sure to charge it as soon as you get it, otherwise you won't be able to program it.
